Our staff members at FBCC are passionate about what God has called them to do and they work hard to reach our community for Christ. Despite varying backgrounds, everyone on our staff are all down-to-earth individuals who love serving others.


    contact Eddie:

    Eddie joined our staff in February 2013. He was born in Paoli, Indiana but moved to Kentucky as a young boy. He enjoys cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and loves the outdoors. Brother Eddie feels a strong conviction to share his passion of Christ with others. For over 29 years he has been leading people to a closer relationship with Jesus. Brother Eddie holds both a Dr. of Ministry and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, a Bachelor of Science from Campbellsville Universty, and a Diploma in Christian Ministry from Boyce Bible School.


    contact Gary:

    Gary, a native of Alabama, has served churches as pastor in Alabama, Michigan, and Kentucky. Gary served for nine years with Lifeway Christian Resources as a curriculum, magazine, and book editor. Gary holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Gary is the author of four books, "He is All I Need: the 23rd Psalm for Today", "Every Day Can Be a Great Day: Convincing Promises from Psalm 34", “Wow Words from God: What I Want God to Say About Me”, and Wow Words from God: Personal 30-Day Study Guide” all published by Xulon Press. Gary writes a blog, Hope Discovered at He is married to his wife, Linda.


    contact Lance:

    Lance joined our staff in October 2016 as the Minister to Students and Families. He and his wife, Jacie, were born and raised in Gadsden, AL and they have one newborn daughter, Emma Joy. Lance was called into part-time youth ministry at the age of 18 and served for four and a half years at Cherry Street Baptist Church in Attalla, AL, until God led him here. He is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College, where he earned a B.A. in Bible and Theology with a Minor in Youth Ministry. Lance believes that in order to make an impact on student’s lives he must build relationships, be authentic, engage them with the Gospel, and help train and equip their parents.


    contact Randy:

    Randy and his family have been members of FBC Centre since 2005 when he helped start the praise band for the contemporary service. At the time, he had been volunteering as Worship Leader for Celebrate Recovery since May 2004. In May of 2016, Randy joined our staff as Minister of Music and Media. Randy is married to Sandie and they have three children: Jay, Jonathan, and AnnaBrooke. It is Randy’s calling and desire to engage people in Spirit-led worship regardless of music style.


    contact Alana:

    Originally from Trion, Georgia, but growing up in Michigan, Alana Allen is the organist and Sanctuary Choir director at FBC Centre. Alana is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan with a B.A. in music education, an Orff - Kodaly Certification from Memphis State University in Memphis, Tennessee, and an M.A. from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Alana is also a published composer and plays a variety of musical instruments. She is married to John Allen, a Baptist minister. Together, they have served the Lord in churches and in the field of evangelism for over 46 years. She believes that music is powerful and that it has the ability to touch us, crossing lines of culture and generations, lifting spirits and reaching hearts.


    contact Tina:

    Tina has been with FBC since 1997, and serves as the financial secretary and administrative assistant to the senior pastor. Tina holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Jacksonville State University, and is a Cherokee County native.  Tina is married to Tim McCord and they have two children, Jake and Jessica. 


    contact Rhonda:

    Rhonda joined First Baptist Centre in October of 2016, where she serves as the Ministerial Assistant.  She and her husband Paul moved to Alabama in 2015 from Kentucky and made First Baptist Centre their church home.  Rhonda does our bulletins, handles the media, and works with the children of First Baptist Centre.  Helping children develop a significant relationship with Christ is her passion.  


    contact Joshua:

    Josh serves as a Ministerial Assistant at First Baptist Centre. He is a graphic designer, photographer, videographer, social media manager, and all-around tech geek, but above all enjoys seeing lives changed. He strives to use media to spread the message of Jesus and inspire others to serve Him with their gifts and talents.


    contact Renee:

    Renee Williams has been a member of First Baptist Centre since 1973. She quickly made FBC Centre her church home and has served as Children’s Choir Director, Adult Choir Director and Sunday School over the years and has served with numerous church committees. Renee is currently the Director of Shepherd’s Fold Daycare which hosts approximately 100 children. She greatly enjoys working with our children, parents, and the Shepherd's Fold staff. She is involved with the Impact Worship Team, the Sanctuary Choir, Women’s Ministry, and Mission Team. 


    contact Beth:

    Beth serves as the Recreational Outreach Center Administrator. She is responsible for the scheduling and general operation of the ROC campus. If you are interested in renting the ROC or hosting a special event, Beth is the one to contact.
