Children's sunday school (K-6th Grade)

We offer Children's Sunday School (K-6th grade) at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. During Children's Sunday School, kids will be engaged with lessons, games and activities that will teach them what it means to put God first in their lives.

If you visit First Baptist Centre for the first time, you will receive a gift bag along with a flyer providing more information about all of our Sunday School groups. You may also pick up the same flyer in our church’s Welcome Center.

Children's Church takes place during our 9:00 AM worship time and is an opportunity for children to celebrate their love for the Lord. Children's Church is a worship experience focused totally on children and building their understanding of the Bible and promoting a meaningful relationship with God.

Children's Church mission is to have the children experience the presence of God by investing a considerable amount of time each week in worship, sharing and hearing testimonies and learning to consistently pay attention to what the Lord is doing around them.

Nursery (birth-3 yrs.)

At FBC Centre we believe children are a gift from God. That's why we seek to care for, nurture, and show the love of Christ to them—all in a safe, clean environment. If you decide to bring your little ones to our nursery, rest assured that our team of qualified volunteers will make sure that your children are cared for and protected.

We provide nursery care throughout our Sunday morning and Sunday evening worship services. Wednesday night nursery care is available at the ROC during AWANA as well.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:3 that children are a gift from the Lord. This God-given trust is very important to us at First Baptist.

The purpose of AWANA is to reach kids with the Gospel of Christ, teach them to serve Him,

and then send them out to share the Gospel message.  Large Group teaching, small group discipleship,

and fun and exciting game  time make up the flexible structure of the AWANA approach.

AGE 3-4

AWANA Preschool Ministry introduces biblical truths and helps children develop a respect for God, His Son, and His Word. This two-year preschool curriculum features biblical teaching, exciting games, storytelling, and puppet shows.

This three-year early elementary school ministry curriculum features exciting games, engaging activities, and biblical teaching. SPARKS club provides a Biblical foundation, teaching kids to live a life of wisdom and grace through fun activities that ignite a child’s curiosity about the people and events of the Bible, building a lasting foundation for knowing Christ.

T&T explores the concept of grace by focusing on the character and nature of God, the identity of Christ,

as well as the structure and format of the Bible. This three-year upper elementary school ministry curriculum

is created to ensure that kids and leaders connect through God's Word.

TREK helps students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer the tough questions about who they are and why they are here. This middle school curriculum features Biblically rich content, engaging interactions and practical application for their lives.
