This Giving Tuesday, let's come together to complete what we've started!  Thanks to God's provision and the incredible generosity of our First Baptist Centre family, we've opened a beautiful new Children's Building, serving our next generation of believers. We have just $559,254 left to pay it off, and with your help, we can do it this year!

Join Pastor Eddie Nation for special Advent Bible studies on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and Dec. 11 at 3:00 or 6:00pm in ROC Room 115.

After Dec. 11th, we will resume Wednesday adult Bible studies in January.  Choose from Experiencing God or a brand new study with Pastor Gary Hardin!

Our children will perform a special Christmas Musical called "The Worst Christmas Ever" during both the 9:00 and 10:30 AM services on Sunday, Dec. 8.  Sunday School and nursery care will be available.

All ladies are invited to the Jewels Women’s Ministry Christmas Goody Swap on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 5:00pm in the ROC gym.

Please bring the following:
--2 dozen cookies, candies, bars, etc. to eat at our gathering
--2 dozen or more cookies, candies, bars, etc to share. These need to be packaged 2 per bag for others to take home.
--1 recipe card of your goody.

A snack and drinks will be provided.

Come out for fun, food, and fellowship! Please sign up at the ROC Welcome Desk by Dec. 1.

Our children and teens wrap up their regular Wednesday night activities on Wednesday, Dec. 11 with Christmas parties. Dinner will be served at 5:30 PM.

First Baptist and the Family Care Center will give away coats and food at the ROC on Friday, December 13 from 1:00-5:00 PM.  For details about what paperwork is needed to participate, please call the Family Care Center at 256-490-9524.

We need volunteers for the event and coats!  Please donate new or gently used coats at First Baptist during regular business hours.  You can sign up to volunteer at the church office too.

Enjoy fun and fellowship with the 50+ crowd at our Christmas Super Senior Potluck Lunch on Tuesday, December 10 at noon in the gym!  Please bring your favorite potluck dish to share. Meat will be provided.

All men are invited to breakfast and a short devotional in the gym at 7:00 AM on Sunday, December 15.

Our youth will lead worship at both the 9:00 AM and 10:30am services, sharing their passion and faith.

During the 10:30am service, we will celebrate the ordination of our Minister to Students, Tucker Byrson. 

Sunday School, children's church, and nursery will be available.

The Cherokee County High School Band Christmas Concert will be in the First Baptist/ROC gym on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3:00pm.  Everyone is welcome!

Give the gift of life this Christmas!  Donate blood at the Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, December 17 from 1:00-5:00 PM at First Baptist/ROC.  Register online at www.redcrossblood.org.

Join us at First Baptist Centre for a special Sunday! We will hold services at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, featuring classic Christmas hymns and the timeless story of Christ's birth, shared by Pastor Eddie Nation.

Bring the whole family and experience the wonder of the season together.  This is a cherished spiritual tradition you won’t want to miss!  Sunday School, children's church, and nursery care will be available.

The church office and ROC will be closed December 23-28 in celebration of Christmas.

Cherish the tradition of Christmas Eve in church!  We will offer a special 5:00 PM service for the whole family to enjoy.

What a better way to wrap up the year than in church!  We will offer a 10:00 AM service.  (We will not offer Sunday School.)

The church offices and ROC will be closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
